I have a covered 10″ covered serving bowl with MARUICHI, Made in Occupied Japan on bottom. The pattern is a yellow background with orange trim. Mixed flowers (roses, morning glories, yellow daiseys) adorn the piece as well. There are alos gold accents. Any idea of what this pattern is and $ of the bowl???
go to www.replacements. com or take it to an antiques dealer who specializes in Japanese ceramics produced after 1945 (when American occupied Japan - this is when this Made in Occupied Japan marking started.)
